Transfer to the Serengeti airstrip. Fly from the Serengeti to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town where you will spend 2 nights at the Tembo House Hotel Including breakfast. (Prime room) The Tembo House Hotel is situated in the heart of Stone Town at the picturesque seafront. It is a magnificent building which has functioned in many ways over the years. It started as an American Consultate in 1834, then became the premises of Cowasjee Dinshaw and Partners, a famous Trading Company in the western Indian Ocean, in 1884. That name is still seen on the main entrance of the hotel. The hotel is situated only half a kilometre from the harbour and 10 to 15 minutes' drive from the airport. |
